In fact it may be related to both temperature (facial) and volume (space taken up by the jealousy within the local atmosphere- usually perceived slightly by those closest to the jealous person). There is also a component of the electromagnetic spectrum involved, to measure the intensity of green light being reflected by the jealous party. So I think 23.5 JU is derived from the following formula: x=dE[Ve/T]/dT1, where dE is the change in light, V is the volume of the resultant jealous cloud, e is the speed of light in a vacuum, T is the temperture in Kelvin, and dT1 is the change in time measured in microseconds. Given that, we can postulate that in colder climates, jealousy may decrease slightly, although envy (which is not discussed here) may actually increase. okay, so maybe I need another hobby.
